Senior Pastor – Rev. Stephen Morse (Pastor Steve)
Stephen (“Steve”) Morse, who has served as pastor at First Greensburg UMC since 2011, is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance, and Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. Steve’s passion is “to connect people with God and God with people”. An experienced music director and song leader, Steve provided worship and music leadership at Annual Conference for many years and continues to do so. Steve believes in what he describes as “relational theology” that sees God at work in and through individual relationships to bring people to the perfection of the Christian life. Steve and Lynne look forward to what God holds in store.
The couple has two daughters, Bethany and Gabrielle. Bethany is the Animal Care Manager at Animal Friends of Westmoreland. Gabrielle is a freshman at Westmoreland County Community College.
Decon/Organist -- Rev. Janet F. Lord
Janet grew up and lives in Creighton, Pa. She graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1977, majoring in music. She was ordained a full deacon in 2001 by Bishop Kim. She has served the church since 1981 in Creighton, Homestead Park, MUSA, Turtle Creek:Electric Heights, the Pittsburgh District Office, and Central Highlands (since 2007). Janet has full-time employment with UPMC and also serves the Western Pennsylvania Conference as the Registrar for the Board of Ordained Ministry.
Janet has an adult son, Tim, who also lives in Creighton.
Administrative Assistant – Suzie Gibbons
Suzie is the Administrative Assistant to the Pastor and the Church.
Treasurer – Tim Durant
Tim handles the practical aspects of our financial workings: paying bills, keeping records, etc.
Financial Secretary – Allene McCall
Allene keeps the financial records for our members.

Director of Technology -- David Herrington
Dave is responsible for the church computers and technology. He is very gifted, attentive, and shares his abilities with members of the congregation as well.
Custodian -- Brandi Basinski
The Congregation -- In the Protestant tradition, we believe in a “priesthood of all believers.” Ordination is but one order of
ministry. Every Christian is called to love and serve Jesus Christ in their homes, where they live, and
where they work.
