Local OutReach Ministries

Central Highlands Church ministers to the local community in the following ways:

*Through our financial support of area ministries such as the Community Food Banks

*Through occasional DIVORCE RECOVERY worshops

*Through MEALS ON WHEELS

*Through caregiving ministries to the homebound and to residents of area nursing homes

*Through a ministry of hospitality to the local chapters of ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS and NARCOTICS ANONYMOUS

*Through HANDS OF THE CARPENTER (a men’s minstry of carpentry and repair work, offered without charge to individuals and families that would not be able to provide these things for themselves)

*Through the monthly outreach ministries of our LOCAL IMPACT TEAM (a team of warm-hearted souls who are always seeking out new opportunities to “impact” local families and individuals with special ministry that our church might be able to offer)

*Through the PASTOR’S DISCRETIONARY FUND (which is a special emergency relief fund designed to provide support for local families and individuals in emergency need)

*Through our support of CORNERSTONE LEADERSHIP ACADEMY (A Christian school in nearby Duquesne, PA that is providing special ministry to children and youth)
