Spiritual Retreat Have you made decisions that you regret? Maybe other people have done things to you that have an impact on how you live your life today. Sometimes, the events of our lives are under our control, and sometimes they are totally out of our control. These decisions and events often shape our lives in ways that can be discouraging at best and crippling at worst. An often overlooked tool in our toolbox is the ability to step back, reflect, and redirect these decisions and events in ways that can have a positive impact on us, rather than a negative one. As Joseph told his brothers: what you intended for evil, God purposed for good. The Prophet Jeremiah reminds us of God's love for us in the midst of difficulties and discouragements: for I know the plans I have for you, plans to give you hope and a future. Join us May 24 10-2 for a time of sharing, reflection, equipping, and encouraging. Lunch will be provided. If you have any food allergies, please contact the office ASAP so that we can make preparations for you. This event is open to the community. All are welcome; bring a friend!
Highlander– Phil’s working on the Highlander this week so get him any articles or advertisements you’d like in there!
Lawn Sign-up– It’s getting warmer so we’re going to need people to help maintain the lawn of the church. We have a sign-up sheet in the Narthex or reach out to Gene Heintz with any questions.
